In case you haven’t been paying attention, there’s an ongoing Communist plot to overthrow our form of government.  Communists, posing under the guise of Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), are engineering a hostile takeover of the Democrat Party.  One by one, mostly in deep Blue Congressional Districts, DSA candidates are ousting incumbent Democrats.

It began eight years ago, when AOC ousted long-time incumbent Joe Crowley in New York City.  She started what became known as The Squad, a collection of Commie rabble rousers such as, Ilhan Omar (MN), Ayanna Pressley (MA), Pramila Jayapal (WA), and Rashida Tlaib (MI), as well as others.

The Squad gained power during the nation-wide 2020 George Floyd riots.  Squad members advocated for the violence that left scores of downtown businesses torched or looted, while police stations and other government buildings were attacked.

Squad members wielded power in a fashion that would have made Hitler’s Nazi Brown Shirts proud.  While they made speeches about ending fascism and preserving democracy, they used the hooded bastards of Antifa to hurl rocks, start fires, and beat any and all dissenters, as well as journalists, with clubs.

The Squad had seven members for several years, but new recruits are being added.  Here in New Jersey, my Congressional District, not long ago, was represented by Rodney Frelinghuysen, a moderate Republican, who had ancestors who were in the Continental Congress, and fought in the Revolution.  Four Frelinghuysens were U.S. Senators, and one was a Secretary of State.

Rodney Frelinghuysen retired, to be replaced by Mikie Sherrill, a fake moderate Democrat.  When she was elected Governor, she was replaced by a Communist.  A doctor linked to Al-Qaeda is the Democrat running in the 12th District.  As these districts don’t have real general elections, the Communist and the terrorist sympathizer will be elected.

This primary season saw other DSA members ousting long-time incumbents in New York and Colorado, where a 30 year veteran lost her primary to a DSA upstart.

At first, these denizens of the DSA were considered to be political oddities.  Then, the tendency was to conclude that, because they were representing districts traditionally held by liberal Democrats, no big changes were afoot.  One Democrat was just as useful to the Party as another Democrat, right?  Wrong!

The Democrat Party of Nancy Pelosi gained and kept power by enforcing iron-clad discipline on its members.  You either voted the Party line along with Nancy, or she’d cut your throat – politically.  Early attempts by DSA to gain influence in Congress were thwarted by Nancy, for instance, when she denied AOC a leadership position.  But Socialist/Communists are persistent.

As incumbent Democrats continued to be defeated by upstart revolutionaries, the Democrat Party was pulled inexorably to the Left – by fear.  Incumbent Democrats, liberal though they may have been, began to parrot the DSA line in attempts to avoid being the next sacrifice.  Their choice was either cow tow to the Communists or risk being primaried and losing your seat.  I don’t for a moment believe that all the Democrats in Congress, distasteful as they may be, support the wild-eyed radical positions advanced by the DSA.

They just didn’t have the courage to resist this intrusion into their Party.  As I recently noted, 25% of Democrats aren’t proud to be Americans, and these are the 25% who regularly turn out to vote in Democrat primaries; fodder for the DSA line.  So old-time Democrats went along with the DSA rhetoric, hoping they’d mellow or just go away.  But they didn’t.  As Winston Churchill once observed, an appeaser is one who keeps feeding a crocodile, hoping that it will eat him last.

Now, spewing the DSA talking points may be popular with the 25% nutty base, and may do no harm to the Party in the deep Blue House districts, but it’s not a helpful means of convincing American voters to support Democrats in national elections.  And therein lies the rub.

Democrats are caught between having to mollify the 25% by parroting the anti-capitalist, truly Marxist DSA line, and trying to keep Democrat voters outside deep Blue districts from bolting the Party.  That battle rages to this day.  Democrats follow the principle that “you must fool 51% of the people every four years by claiming to be moderate.”  But try as it might, the Democrat leadership cannot get the DSA nuts even to pretend to be anything other than what they are – Communists.  The DSA is in full revolt against the Democrat leaders.

So, instead of stamping out the DSA threat to the usual Democrat line of electoral bullshit, Democrats are pretending to welcome them to their cause, uniformly saying that they “have a big tent” to accommodate all factions.  In a way it’s Nancy Pelosi’s fault.  She was so successful in forcing Democrats all to sing from the same sheet of music that now they know no other response.  But the DSA isn’t interested in coming into the Democrat tent.  They’d rather burn the tent down, purge the current leaders, and erect a new tent for their own circus.

The purge is on.  And keep in mind, we’re talking about people who are already on the far Left of the political spectrum.  Chuck Schumer basically is a dead man walking.  If she doesn’t run for president, AOC likely will take his Senate seat.  House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is a far, far Left Democrat, and a reliable vote for any crazy progressive policy.  Yet, on the night DSA ousted two incumbent NYC House members in June, DSA Brown Shirts serenaded Jeffries with chants of “You’re next!”

And what is DSA selling?  If there existed an honest media in this country, you already would know, but there doesn’t, so I’ll tell you.  The DSA Platform, according to its website, says that capitalism cannot be reformed into socialism but must be “overthrown and replaced.”  They want the largest corporations  under “public ownership and democratic control,” including public ownership of major transportation and energy infrastructure and natural resources.  (In other words, seize the means of production – Communism).

They want a 32-hour workweek with 40-hour pay, higher taxes on wealthy earners and corporations, taxes on large inheritances and private universities, and a new wealth tax.  (In other words, wealth confiscation – Communism).

They want Medicare for All with no premiums, co-pays or deductibles and guarantees for what the document calls “reproductive and gender-affirming care.”  As for housing and education, universal rent control, taxpayer-funded social housing, a guaranteed right to counsel for every tenant, tuition-free public colleges, no out-of-pocket room-and-board costs and cancellation of all student loan debt.

On immigration, DSA wants workers to migrate between countries without  immigration controls.  It seeks to demilitarize the border, end all immigrant detention and deportations, grant immediate amnesty to every immigrant regardless of current status and provide immigrants access to jobs, labor protections and social services.  Oh, and a couple other things, full voting rights for noncitizens and people with criminal convictions, statehood for Washington, D.C., and slash the defense budget.

On crime, DSA would abolish cash bail and mandatory minimum sentences, demilitarize police departments and treat drug addiction as a health issue rather than a crime.  (In other words, defund the police, end prosecutions, and keep the electorate perpetually high, so they won’t notice).  On foreign affairs DSA would end U.S. military and economic aid and weapons sales to Israel, recognize of the authority of the International Criminal Court and International Court of Justice, and recognize a sovereign Palestinian State.

If the foregoing hasn’t scared the shit out of you, try this on for size.   The DSA, representing the Party that’s been haranguing us for years about existential threats to our constitutional rights, has a plan to fix all that.  DSA says its goal is a new constitution based on proportional representation in a “single federal legislature” that would “end the role of money in politics.”  Money wouldn’t be needed, as the Marxist electoral system is “One man, one vote, one time.”

Oh yes, did I mention, replacing the Electoral College with a national popular vote, expanding the House, abolishing the Senate and the presidency, and reducing the Supreme Court’s power of judicial review?

The battle against the DSA could go a couple of different ways.  The election of Communists to House seats could backfire, cause a schism in the Party and do lasting damage to the Democrat Party.  But only if Republicans can successfully inform the general public of what’s in store for them should DSA prevail, and  enough reasonable voters go to the polls in swing districts and reject the Marxist takeover.

A good barometer will be the Senate races in Michigan and Missouri.  If Abdul El-Sayad, an openly antisemitic DSA backed candidate, wins in Michigan, and Squad member Cori Bush wins the Senate seat in Missouri, then DSA moves from the Blue districts to the national stage, and that spells trouble.  If the DSA Marxists can be contained in a handful of House seats, they pose a greater threat to the Democrat Party than to the nation.

The message is, don’t take the DSA lightly.  Marxist zealots never give up.

Last week’s America 250 celebrations were awe inspiring.  The tall ships.  The military plane flyovers.  The speech and fireworks at Mount Rushmore.  And the stunning July 4th fireworks show on the National Mall.  Most Americans were inspired by the celebrations, but not all.  No.  There is no satisfaction, no national pride, and no joy in Democratville.  They weren’t inspired by the Independence Day events, they were triggered by them.  (For people who claim to be opposed to guns, leftists spend an awful lot of time talking about their triggers, don’t you think?)

Yes, the people who have devoted their lives to haranguing the rest of us with their idiotic warnings about existential threats to our country should a conservative ever be elected, could find neither the time or the simple decency to take one day off from their psychosis to appreciate the fact that our Republic has endured for 250 years.

These are the same people, mind you, who constantly rail against “No Kings.”  Here is the one national holiday on which we celebrate the men who separated us from a tyrannical king, and these pricks simply can’t stand it.  As Christopher Scalia so aptly put it a number of years ago, “Progressiveism has become the haunting fear that someone, somewhere may be celebrating America.”

Democrats are the Party of grievance.  In his “I have a dream speech,” Martin Luther King called upon Americans to “Let freedom ring.”  But today’s Democrats never pass up an opportunity to let grievance ring.

Independence Day was too much for the Left to take.  Everything about the holiday triggered them.  The immensely stupid Sunny Hostin of The View was quite uneasy.  She said just the sight of American flags “in some communities” scared her, because they are a symbol of white supremacy.  She didn’t specify which communities, but Sunny clearly has a problem, and I mean apart from the problem of being afraid of her own nation’s flag.

And Sunny’s not alone.  A quarter of all Democrats said they wouldn’t celebrate the 4th of July. (Just a hint.  That’s the 25% who vote in Democrat primaries for people like an anti-Christian vegan in Texas, and a Nazi-tattooed rapist in Maine).

New York Times podcaster Lulu Garcia-Navarro decried the awe-inspiring display of America’s military flyovers as “nerve-wracking,” “Why are we having so many jets scorching over DC?  Nerve-wracking.  I get 250 celebrations, but it feels like the apocalypse.”  Put your tin foil hat back on Lulu.

The harridans who run the Women’s March called on protesters to join their “Free America Weekend,” “To Free America from the grip of greedy billionaires who rig the system for themselves.” “Let’s stop the rich and powerful from gambling our future away.” (That means stop them from creating new industries, hiring people and earning a profit).  They don’t want the future gambled away, they’d rather piss it away.  “Free America from poverty.” Really?  Where have these dames been?  When LBJ declared War on Poverty in 1965, about 15% of the population was below the poverty line.  Since then, we’ve spent some $22 trillion on anti-poverty programs, more than enough to finance every real war the U.S. has ever fought in.  The poverty rate hasn’t changed.

John Schwarz, founder of The People’s Union USA, called for a July boycott to protest ICE arrests, and other Trump policies. “This is the most important boycott of the year.  It’s not about politics, it’s about principle,” He instructed Americans to refrain from attending parades and fireworks shows. “It’s about walking away from the illusion they’ve built and reclaiming what it actually means to be free.”  “There is no independence to celebrate right now.” He said the boycott must happen because people love America “too much to lie anymore.” “Don’t wave a flag for a country that no longer waves it for you.”  “The fourth of July is supposed to be a celebration of freedom, but what freedom are we actually talking about?  The right to be watched?  The right to be taxed?  Nobody’s watching you John.  And better cut out that anti-tax talk.  Democrats won’t like it.

Then there’s professor Darien Wellman, PHD.  He commemorated the 4th with Why I Don’t Celebrate the Fourth of July.  He’s got a few complaints: The U.S. was built on the mass displacement and destruction of Indigenous peoples, the enslavement of millions of Africans and their descendants, and the systematic denial of rights to anyone who wasn’t white, male, and wealthy; women lived under oppressive patriarchal laws for generations; Black Americans fought for centuries just to be recognized as citizens; Immigrants were exploited, excluded, or scapegoated; Civil rights protections are being rolled back; the  U.S. government has supported, and directly carried out, acts that meet the definition of genocide; the U.S. has engaged in wars that have cost countless lives, while the human cost of these actions is quietly buried.  He said, “when the Fourth of July comes around, I don’t feel the urge to wave a flag or light fireworks.  I feel the weight of history.”

Wow, I bet you never knew what a terrible place we’re living in.  By the way, we do know the human cost of our actions.  We counted them.  1.3 million Americans gave their lives to make sure Professor Wellman was free to pop off.  They weren’t quietly buried.  They’re in Arlington, the Punchbowl cemetery in Hawaii, Normandy, and many other places.

Nikole Hannah-Jones, the creator of the  now-debunked “1619 Project,” chimed right in with a call for racial reparations, saying that paying reparations for slavery would amount to admitting that “the entire existence of the United States” is a crime.

But by far the most infuriating critique and rebuke of the fact that Americans dare to celebrate 250 years of their independence came from New York Mayor Commie Mamdani, who gathered around him a bunch from the Star Wars bar scene, to bash the nation he fled Uganda to come to.  Here’s what it looked like.

Oops!  Sorry, that one’s from the Iranian Ayatollah’s funeral.  How did that get in there?

Ah, here it is –You can understand the confusion.  Mamdani spoke of the immigrants arriving in New York with hope, but little knowing they would face nativism, be denied jobs and live in squalor.  He complained of the federal government enacting laws to bar their entry.  We call that legislation Zohran.  See the U.S. Constitution, Article I, Paragraph 8.

Then Zohran went full Marxist on his adopted country.  “The powerful have always known their answer.  America, in their view, is an arena of supremacy, where only a select few are allowed freedom, where not all are created equal.  America, if you ask them, becomes less the more people it welcomes.  America, they will tell you, belongs only to those with the right accent or the right shade of skin.  The rest of us, they insist, should be grateful for merely being allowed to visit.”  Maybe he’s right.  I’m sorry they let him in.

Mamdani then channeled FDR’s 1937 inaugural speech.  FDR said, “I see millions denied education, recreation, and the opportunity to better their lot and the lot of their children.  I see one-third of a nation ill-housed, ill-clad, ill-nourished.”  Mamdani perceives no improvement in almost 90 years.

As we mark 250 years, what do we see?  “We see the wealthiest country in the history of the world — one where children go to sleep hungry while the world’s first trillionaire hungers for more.” (This in a nation in which government at all levels is spending $11 trillion a year.  If they can’t get people fed at that price, don’t blame the taxpayers).

“We see monopolies that dominate every industry and oligarchs who buy elections.”  (Like George Soros?)

“We see masked agents terrorizing our streets, eating food cooked by our undocumented neighbors before spiriting them away in unmarked vans.” (ICE agents are entitled to a little Taco Tuesday just like everybody else).

“Yes, we see America in a health insurance industry that exploits the sick.”
“Yes, we see America in corporate landlords for whom negligence is a business model.”  “Yes, we see America when we spend our tax dollars on bombs and bailouts.” (When we should be spending it on Bums and Bolsheviks).

Mamdani cautioned against saying, “America, love it or leave it,” so I won’t remind him that there’s a big beautiful door in that big beautiful wall on the border.  Ah, what the Hell.  If we’re really that bad, on your way out, don’t let that door hit you in the ass, Zohran.

The Left isn’t required to celebrate Independence Day, or any other holiday, for that matter.  Since they’re still living in the past, complaining of ills that existed in 1937, but no longer prevail, I suggest a proverb from the past.  “If you don’t have anything good to say, shut your friggin pie hole.”

Tomorrow we mark the 250th anniversary of the 1776 Declaration of Independence.  More specifically, it is our semiquincentennial.  Every Independence Day is special for Americans, or at least used to be.  When our schools actually were forums for education, rather than indoctrination, when students were taught history, love of country, and to appreciate the sacrifices of those who came before them, July 4th was more than just a national holiday.

Today, for far too many, it’s just another day off from work.  A day for barbecue and beer.  They know it’s a day for celebrating with fireworks, but I’m sure precious few of them know why.  For the record, that comes from a prediction made by John Adams shortly after the signing of the Declaration.  “I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival…It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more.”

I’ve written before of the toll taken on the generations of students who’ve been the victims of educational malpractice.  They’re not taught history or civics.  Instead of respect for the nation whose bounty they enjoy, they’re encouraged to heap scorn on their country, and to be ashamed of their heritage.

I’m no Pollyanna.  America is the greatest nation on the face of the Earth, but it’s no utopia, and far from perfect.  But to those who would dwell on our faults, I ask, “Has such a utopia every existed anywhere else?”  Sure, there are parts of our history that weren’t pretty.  Some were downright ugly.  The point is that young people should be learning all of our history, the good, the bad and the ugly.

But don’t take my word for it.  That sentiment was part of the message expressed by John Hancock, in his famous speech to the Second Virginia Revolutionary Convention, in Richmond, on March 23, 1775.  “Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and, having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation?  For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.  I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.  I know of no way of judging the future but by the past.”

He ended the speech with the well known words, “Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?  Forbid it, Almighty God!  I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!”  Armed with full knowledge of the past, John Hancock was able to understand the stakes.  Liberty, or death.  Absent such knowledge, ignorance isn’t bliss, it’s downright dangerous.

The men who signed the Declaration, lately are derided by scores of highly indoctrinated academic morons, who dismiss them for being all male, all white, some of whom who were slave owners.  All those things are true, of course.  But what’s also true is that any attempt to imprint 21st Century values on 18th Century actors is at best folly, and at worst an evil attempt to take advantage of those whom they’ve chosen to consign to ignorance.

In his Gettysburg Address, Abraham Lincoln, echoing the words of the Declaration, described America as a nation “conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.”  The Left, which dominates the media, portrays American history through a Marxist lens; as the struggle between the oppressors and the oppressed.  For them, America is a nation conceived by land theft, motivated by greed, and dedicated to tyranny and inequality.

The Left ignores all progress made toward the ideals stated in the Declaration since 1776.  They have no desire to strive for the “more prefect Union” envisioned by our Constitution.  They are dedicated to but one cause, the destruction of the form of government conceived by the Founders.  Their false message to the world is that the United States is evil.  I’m pleased to see that the foreign visitors who’ve come for the World Cup now realize  they’ve been lied to.  Overwhelmingly, they love our country, our way of life, and even our Ranch Dressing.  By contrast, less than a third of Democrats are proud of America.

Americans founded the first nation on Earth dedicated to self-government.  They tamed a unknown frontier, crossed endless plains, and conquered forbidding mountains, to spread the dream of our Founders across a continent.  In 250 years, the foundling nation of 1776 became the economic powerhouse that has fed the world, powered the world, and in time of war, protected the world from true tyrants who would banish freedom.

In his second inaugural address, Abraham Lincoln called the United States, “the last, best hope of the Earth.”  If that still wasn’t the case, millions wouldn’t be risking life and limb to come here.  The 250th anniversary deserves celebration.  President Trump has tried to properly honor the nation, but, as with all things, he’s met with resistance.

I remember the bicentennial in 1976.  Every part of our country, including Hollywood and the media, joined in the celebration.  Remember the CBS Bicentennial Minutes?  This time, there doesn’t seem to be as much enthusiasm for celebrating America.  We could write it off as a manifestation of Trump Derangement Syndrome, but it’s more than that.

The Trump Administration worked hard to beautify Washington for the 250th.  Fountains that were dry for decades now flow.  The reflecting pool at the Lincoln Memorial was repaired and resurfaced.  Afterward, the pool was vandalized, its liner slashed, and we’re told that fertilizer dumped in the water contributed to algae growth.  As always, the Left denies these claims, and grotesque neon-haired imbeciles are marching up and down in support, not of their country, but of the algae.  They’ve given new meaning to the term, Scum of the Earth.

The President organized the Great American State Fair.  It was to have exhibits from all 50 States.  Seven States refused to participate.  Pennsylvania sent the most delegates (8) to the Second Continental Congress, but its current Governor refused to participate in the Fair.  In addition, Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Oregon, and Washington opted out.  The one thing all these States have in common is Democrat Governors.  Some pled fiscal problems.  Others claimed that the event was “too partisan.”  If celebrating you country is “too partisan” simply because a Republican happens to be president, then who’s the real partisan?  And if your hatred is more important to you than country, you need to seek help.

As I said, it’s more than just Trump hatred driving these people.  The leftists can’t bring themselves to celebrate a form of government that they hate.  They view the Constitution as merely an antiquated obstacle, to be ignored by superior beings such as themselves.  And they reject the Declaration of Independence.  In a speech on July 4, 1914, Woodrow Wilson dismissed the Declaration as merely “a historical document,” that had no meaning for later generations.  Il Duce Obama bashed it again just last week, saying the Founders “fell short” of their goals.

I think the real reason that those on the Left reject the Declaration is because they stand for and advocate the very things that compelled our Founders to separate us from Great Britain.  Simply put, leftists may protest against “No Kings,” but they practice what the Founders called, the very “injuries and usurpations” of which they declared King George guilty.

The Declaration contains a litany of offenses committed by King George against the Colonies.  A few may sound familiar.  “He has refused to assent to laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.”  80% of Americans favor a voter ID requirement.  Democrats refuse to consent.

“He has obstructed the administration of justice by refusing to assent to laws.”  What are sanctuary States and cities, which protect illegal aliens in violation of federal law, but obstructions of justice?

“He has made judges dependent on his will alone.”  Scores of rogue federal judges, appointed by Il Duce Obama and Biden are perverting the Constitution  to frustrate the Chief Executive.

“He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.”  If left to their own devices, Democrats would regulate most businesses, and our very way of life out of existence.  If you doubt me, try to rebuild your burned up house in Los Angeles.

“He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us.”  Wielding Antifa terrorists as their enforcement arm, Democrats never miss an opportunity for a good riot.

The Founders summed up their litany of offenses by pronouncing that a leader, “whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.” Amen, brothers.  They ended the Declaration with, “And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.”

This is important.  Bolshevik Bernie Sanders likes to rail against “the oligarchs.”  Our Founders were men of means, oligarchs, if you will, who risked all to create the first government “of the people, by the people, and for the people” ever conceived.  Had they failed, all their property would have been seized, and they hanged.  Somehow, the revolution spawned by the Declaration succeeded, and the rest is history; the history most of you never were taught.

So when you pop open that beer tomorrow, give some thought to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence, in order to give you your day off.  A simple Thank You would suffice.

Last week, after many years of planning and construction, Il Duce Obama finally opened his Presidential Center in Chicago.  It is a massive, and massively ugly edifice.

This monstrosity was built in Chicago’s Jackson Park is said to have cost $850 million for the building alone.  But in true Democrat fashion, the price tag doesn’t end with the reported cost.  The already overtaxed citizens of the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois also are on the hook for some $350 million for necessary infrastructure improvements.

And the way Obama got control of the property on which his building sits is, to say the least creative financing.  To say the most, it’s blatant fraud.  Obama got 19 acres of the park for the sum of $10.  (Even the Indians got more than that for Manhattan long, long ago).  In return for the $10 price, Obama was supposed to fund an endowment with $470 million to support the project.  Five years ago, they got the endowment started with a $1 million deposit.  No further deposits have been made.  That’s what my late father used to call, “A dollar down, and the rest when you catch me.”

And true to his Democrat roots, Obama spent money on the building that he didn’t have.  Dozens of subcontractors, many of them minority owned businesses, are owed millions of dollars for work done and never paid for.  Well, Obama is all about hope, so I guess they can “hope” they’ll find a way to stay in business.  It’s a win-win for Obama, though.  He got his building, he got the virtue signaling satisfaction of hiring minority firms, he didn’t pay them of course, but if they go out of business it’ll be Trump’s fault.

The design of Obama’s abomination has raised many eyebrows.  According to one of the designers, “The shape of the building was actually meant to mimic four hands coming together to show the importance of our collective action.”  Collective?  Note the Marxist terminology.  Other observers don’t see hands coming together.

Many Chicago residents think they’re getting the back of the hand.  They call the building an “eyesore” which is driving up rents and property taxes in the area.  Other observers were less kind.  They’ve called it the “Obmalisk,” and the “Obamausoleum.”  Some see a more otherworldly design, calling it “the Death Star,” and likening the edifice to “a Klingon prison.”

For a man who some accused of being born somewhere other than in the United States, these descriptions could be troubling.  We’ve all seen Obama’s birth certificate, but maybe he’s trying to tell us something.  After all, the  release of UFO files is in the news, and many are claiming there’s proof of space aliens visiting our planet.  The shape of the Obama Center is a bit suspicious.  To me, it looks a lot like the obelisk from 2001 – A Space Odyssey.

Then again, it’s more reminiscent of the entrance to the headquarters of the agents in Men in Black

Obama could be trying to tell us that space aliens are living among us.  Or maybe not.  The building may just have been designed to look like George Orwell’s 1984 Ministry of Truth

But design aside, Obama’s speech at the opening ceremonies wasn’t at all foreign or unusual.  If you had some HOPE that his message would CHANGE, you were sadly disappointed.  It was the same Socialist claptrap, out and out bullshit, and hope and change happy horseshit that he fed America for eight years.  Plus, given Obama’s conduct leading up to and following the 2016 election, the speech was a study in hypocrisy.

First, let’s set the scene.  Valerie Jarrett is the CEO of the Obama Center.  Her salary is $740,000 a year, and unlike other minorities connected to the project, she is getting paid.  Her introduction was pure virtue signaling bullshit.

“We’d also like to take a moment to recognize the original inhabitants of the land upon which we are gathered today.”  “We honor the Anishinaabe, the Council of Three Fires, the Ojibwe, the Odawa and the Potawatomi nations.”  Some have faulted at the logic, or apparent lack of such in these comments.  They built “a communist monument” on “stolen land” that the new owners refuse to give back.

For his part, Il Duce Obama at first commented on the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, but then quickly managed to defame our nation’s Founding Fathers.  He noted that the success of the experiment with self-government was never a given.  “In forming our union, the founders fell terribly short of the Declaration’s promise, leaving slavery intact, allowing states to restrict the franchise to white men who owned property, but in drafting a constitution and a bill of rights, they did have the foresight, the genius to provide us with a framework that allows each generation to make our union more perfect.”

So, the Declaration was flawed, but the Constitution was a work of genius?  Okay, but many of the the men who signed the Declaration, also wrote the Constitution.  You know, that document that’s supposed to be the supreme law of the land, the one that Democrats like Obama view as merely an impediment to be ignored.

Il Duce spoke of our “beliefs,” and without mentioning his name, used these comments to criticize our current president.

“A belief that our military and law enforcement owe allegiance not to any president or political party but to the people and our Constitution.”  Does he think they don’t?  These officers swear to support and defend the Constitution, and military officers promise to obey the orders of those appointed over them, like, say, their Commander in Chief.  The implication is that the military should disregard Trump’s orders.

“A belief in the peaceful transfer of power after the people have spoken in fair and free elections, recognizing that in a large, complicated society like ours, no group or faction gets its way 100% of the time.”

This one was truly laughable.  Barrack Hussein Obama personally participated in the illegal, unconscionable, and unconstitutional attempts to sabotage the Trump 2016 campaign, and to cripple his first Administration.  He presided over meetings that led to spying on and wiretapping of campaign officials.  He changed intelligence gathering and dissemination rules to permit raw intelligence to be leaked from the Trump Administration.  He appointed and left behind moles in every agency whose jobs it was to undermine Trump.  Obama was directly responsible for the decision to have the FBI ambush General Michael Flynn, and railroad him into an indictment for lying to a federal officer.

In 2016, the people spoke in a free and fair election, and Il Duce Obama did everything he could to frustrate the will of American voters, for the express purpose of seeing that his Party got its way 100% of the time.  Instead of building a Klingon prison, he should be sitting in a prison.

Then Obama spoke of events after he left office.  “I recognize it’s been almost a decade since I left office.  In that time, we have lived through more war and a terrible pandemic, economic disruptions, mass protests, backlash against mass protests, political conflicts that have shaken the very foundation of our democracy. ”  We’ve lived through more war?  Obama attacked eight countries and killed thousands.  The war with Iran was necessary only because Obama’s  to pay off the Iranians financed their nuclear program.

Economic disruptions?  Things only got better once Il Duce was gone.  Mass protests, and backlash against mass protests?  I’ll translate for you.  Democrats caused riots that killed scores of people and destroyed thousands of businesses and other property.  The backlash was enforcement of the law, which Obama and his ilk oppose.

And political conflicts that have shaken the foundation of our democracy?  Obama is the crooked son of a bitch who supervised the shaking.

Then Obama warned us not to “open the door to the most ruthless, or the most careless, or the most fearful among us, who see some groups and some people as more equal than others, and see government as nothing more than a way to divvy up the spoils and punish enemies and keep those who are different in their place.  The balls on this prick!  Il Duce ruthlessly weaponized the government to stifle all dissent, and to keep dissenters “in their place,” which he decided was federal prison.

Now that the Obama Death Star is open for business, where is Luke Skywalker when we need him?  There is what looks like an open thermal exhaust port on the side of the building.  One proton torpedo ought to do it.

It’s said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.  If that is so, then the Democrats clearly are insane.

In 2016, when Donald Trump first ran for president, the Democrats called him a fascist, a bigot, a criminal, a threat, and a traitor.  They weaponized the government to stop his election.  When that failed, they used moles in the FBI, the CIA, the rest of the domestic intelligence community, and some foreign intelligence agencies to disrupt his presidency.

They conducted a protracted special counsel investigation into Russiagate allegations that they knew to be false.  They impeached him twice.  They eavesdropped on his private conversations with world leaders.  They manufactured fake evidence.  They falsified FISA wiretap warrant affidavits.

When they took power in 2019, they hounded anyone who ever worked for or with Trump with continual subpoenas to bankrupt them, imprison them, and ruin the their lives.  The only message the Democrats had for the American people was, “Trump is bad.  We hate Trump, and you should hate Trump.”

When Trump was out of office, after 2021, they indicted him four times in an attempt to imprison him for life, and brought a civil suit designed to bankrupt him and his family.  They tried to take his name off State ballots.  When Trump ran for president in 2024, the Democrat message was the same.  Democrats called him a fascist, a bigot, a criminal, a threat, and a traitor, and said, “Trump is bad.  We hate Trump, and you should hate Trump.”  Again, that didn’t work.

Now at this point, a sane individual or group might have concluded that their message was not productive and that it would behoove them to find a different and better message.  For instance, the Democrats might actually propose some legislation beneficial to the American public.  In the alternative, they might choose to nominate candidates for office who aren’t wild-eyed Socialist freaks.

Better yet, they might finally realize that Trump is the duly elected president, and that they very well could benefit their constituents by working with him, rather than against him.  Trump wrote The Art of the Deal, and he lives for the deal.  On this topic, if the Democrats were smart, they would make deals with Trump to pass bills that would anger the far right members of Congress, and drive a wedge between Trump and his base.  Apparently, they’re not that smart.

Moreover, as we approach the midterm elections, Democrats are still preaching the same message and still are expecting a different result.  Winston Churchill said, “I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat.”  The Democrat message remains, “We have nothing to offer but, Trump is bad, we hate Trump, and you should hate Trump.”

Whenever Trump takes action, any action, on any issue, Democrats sue him, and they get partisan judges to hold him up.  Despite three assassination attempts, plus the foiling of the latest plot for mass murder at this week’s UFC event at the White House, Democrats still denounce Trump as Hitler and fascist, and call for unlimited resistance to any decision he makes.

Expecting a different result, Democrats insist on holding, every few months, the same lame No Kings protests, featuring decrepit senior citizens limping up and down the street with their little signs.

For Democrats, blind resistance to Trump means opposing absolutely everything he does.  He installed pavement in part of the White House Rose Garden, to prevent journalists and visitors from sinking into the mud.  They’re against it.

Trump is building a new East Wing ballroom, a feature that presidents from both Parties have said has been needed for many years.  The construction is being privately financed, so the American taxpayer isn’t paying for it.  Trump is a builder, so he will get it done as quickly and at the lowest cost possible.  Democrats are against it.  If they could draw out the process for years, and ensure that it cost four times whatever was estimated, they would be for it.  Brain damage.

The reflecting pool in front of the Washington Monument was filthy, clogged with garbage, and looking like a backed up sewer.  The Democrats wanted to spend $300 million to fix it.  Trump did the job for $6.9 million.  Democrats objected.  They even sued Trump over the shade of blue being reflected.

Democrats also sued to stop last Sunday’s UFC fights on the White House lawn.  They lost the suit.  They then held a televised, but largely unwatched, counter-program.  The program was a super No Kings event, featuring decrepit celebrity senior citizens, projecting the self-same message, ” Trump is bad, we hate Trump, and you should hate Trump.”

Jane Fonda (she still alive?) said the rights of Americans are being taken away by all three branches of the government.  I guess she wants to overthrow the government then, right?  Julia Roberts (no longer a Pretty Woman) eulogized the woman in Minnesota shot and killed by ICE simply because she was trying to run over and kill the officers, offering that “she did her best.”

Under educated, overpaid, foul mouthed cafone Robert DeNiro said he can’t love a country that’s led by Donald Trump and his sycophant Congress.  At the risk that commenting on DeNiro’s idiocy might be considered taking advantage of the simple minded, I’ll simply observe that, as usual, DeNiro is full of shit.  To be fair, maybe he just heard the word sycophant and doesn’t really know what it means.

A sycophant is someone who reacts to whatever the boss says by saying, “Yes, sir!” or by applauding whatever stupid bullshit some leftist says.  For example, see any episode of The View.  If DeNiro really thinks Trump has a sycophant Congress, he truly is nuts.  49.65% of the House is composed of Democrats who oppose Trump 100% of the time.  Republicans have a 3 seat majority.  In the Senate, there are 47 Democrat Senators.  Add to this Republicans Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, and Rand Paul, who often vote against Trump, and it’s a 50-50 proposition.  Sycophants my ass.

The big act at the Democrat TV bitch fest was Bette Midler’s rendition of the song, Rise Up, Sing Out.  The refrain, “All you fascists, bound to lose,” proves these imbeciles don’t know what a fascist is.  According to Benito Mussolini, fascism means, “Everything inside the State, nothing outside the State, and nothing against the State.”  The motto, “The government is all powerful, and you better not disagree” is the Democrat Party in a nutshell, and I do mean Nut Shell.

And coming from the Party that always complains about Trump’s “tone,” Midler’s song certainly did nothing to discourage violence against the president and law enforcement.  Here’s one verse, “To Hell with all the cowards, who hide behind their masks; We’re gonna win the midterms, we’re coming for his ass; He knows it too, that bastard’s bound to lose.”  Lovely.

Clearly the Democrats have learned nothing in the past 10 years.  And they’ve indicated that they’re still wedded to the same tired message.  Commenting on Tuesday’s Georgia primary elections, Senator Warnock said anyone who supports the president is in favor of corruption.  No, not the corruption of Democrats in Minnesota, Ohio, California and elsewhere.  Warnock suggests that Trump wasn’t a billionaire until he was reelected in 2024.  In other words, Warnock says Trump got rich while in office.  As I said, brain damage.  You really can’t fault Warnock though, Ilhan Omar told him that’s the way she got rich, so…

The detestable Adam Schiff (for brains) also has doubled, or is it quadrupled, down on the “Trump bad” message.  Schiff promises that, when Democrats regain power, they will subpoena before Congressional Committees any private sector person who aided or worked with Trump.  Just like they did the last time.  They’ll drag them in, make them run up millions of dollars of legal bills, and try to ruin their lives and businesses.  It worked great the first time they tried it, right?

Call me old fashioned, but I think the Democrats might be better served, and I know their constituents would be better served, by a Party that offered the American people something other than, lies, fantasy, hate, invective, insults, Marxism, corruption, waste, and incitement to violence.  Will they ever learn?  I hope not.
