We live among a wild-eyed group of fanatics who demand that we immediately stop using oil and natural gas, drastically reduce CO2 levels by closing down our industries, and putting millions out of work, and ending the use of gasoline automobiles, which, they tell us, are to be replaced in short order by electric vehicles (EVs).  If we don’t agree, we’re labelled “climate deniers,” and are accused of trying to kill all Mankind (or should that be Peoplekind?  Or is that also objectionable.  Maybe it should be homosapienskind, or homokind for short, but you can’t say that either, so I guess it’s LGBTQ+kind).  In any event, the Climate Activists (or Greens, Econuts, or just plain nuts) have assured us that if we don’t do exactly as they demand, and now, we have only 12, or 10, or is it 7 years left before the Earth is consumed in fire and all of us are dead.  If that sounds crazy, it’s only because it is.  Most people used to understand this.  When nuts used to walk up and down wearing signs proclaiming the end of the world, we saw them for what they were – Nuts.  I mean, the evidence was right in front of us.  Climate nuts were predicting the end of the world within 30 years in 1970.  For a time, there was talk of a new Ice Age that would kill us.  Then, when that didn’t happen, it was Global Warming.  The problem was that, about 14 years ago, the warming stopped.  First, they published fake graphs to support their cause, and then they renamed it Climate Change.  Whatever they call it, it never comes to pass.  Hence – Nuts.  In our current state, however, the “end of the world” prophets are considered the sane ones, and the rest of us are said to be out of step, dangerous, and fit only for destruction.  Government officials, who once were considered to be reasonable representatives of the public interest, have drunk the Climate Kool-Aid, and are implementing nutty measures to forestall an imaginary apocalypse.  The federal government is spending hundreds of billions of dollars to subsidize so-called Green Energy projects, which are mostly pork barrel crap.  California and other States have enacted laws which, if implemented, will outlaw the sale of gasoline powered cars within 13 years.  No gas, no diesel, and no hybrid-electric.  EVs only.  Only this, they tell us, will save the planet.  The nuts care not that the planet isn’t going anywhere, that their plans will usher in a world-wide depression and famine, and that, most importantly, it won’t work.  The nuts have decided that they want EVs and only EVs, to reduce carbon emissions.  Every year, they get on their private jets and spew carbon all over the globe, to attend climate conferences, where they congratulate one another on their superior intelligence.  The problem is they’ve missed a couple of important steps. Our Energy and Interior Secretaries have said they want to keep oil and gas in the ground, but they can’t, because oil and gas are necessary to manufacture EVs.  The average gasoline car contains 342 pounds of plastic.  Oil and natural gas are needed to produce plastic.  An EV uses 742 pounds of plastic.  12 years ago, we needed nearly 200 million barrels of oil and 412 billion cubic feet of natural gas to produce plastic.  How much more will be needed for EVs?  Making an EV also requires lithium batteries, cobalt and a number of rare Earth elements, such as neodymium.  Most rare Earths, and 85% of all cobalt are found in China, so they profit from EVs.  China has a lot of lithium too.  We could mine lithium here, but Climate Nuts are against that too.  They don’t approve of mining.  More carbon is emitted to make an EV than in the production of a gas powered car, especially when the components are mined in places like China.  So EVs are not as Green as advertised.  Plus, we’re not alone in the world.  Countries like the UK have EV climate goals too.  A study found that, the conversion of the UK to EVs would require two times the total annual world cobalt production, nearly the entire world production of neodymium, three quarters the world’s lithium production and at least half of the world’s copper production.  Just for the UK.  We have 9 times as many cars as the UK.  Do the math.   Then there’s that other little problem.  EVs need to be charged – with electricity, which has to somehow be produced.  The nuts don’t want to use fossil fuels, or coal, or nuclear energy to generate electricity.  That leaves wind and solar, and during a miserable New Jersey winter, just wind, and that’s just not enough.   If virtually all passenger cars in Texas were electrified today, the state would need to produce enough electricity to power 11 million more homes.  This added demand would increase electricity consumption by 30 percent.  Costs would skyrocket, and Texas wound up in the dark a couple of winters ago when some windmills froze.  California might require nearly 50 percent more electricity than it currently consumes if passenger vehicles in the state were fully electrified.  Where’s it going to come from?  Oh, and by the way, none of the windmill turbines are recyclable, if the wind blows more than 45 MPH you have to shut them down, and they kill about 235,000 birds a year.  California now has about 15% EVs.  Last week, it got hot and Governor Newsom warned people not to charge their EVs, lest the power go out in 100 degree heat.  So, let’s hear it for EVs – freeze in the winter and croak in the summer.  Plus, as we have seen, there’s no way to produce and maintain an all EV world.  The Climate nut goals are unrealistic, and unattainable.  If implemented, they would produce poverty and a further breakdown of society.  The Leftists know this, and it’s just what they want.  They know all cars can’t be EVs.  The truth is they don’t want gas powered cars or EVs.  They want you dependent on mass transit.  To do that, they have to concentrate people in the cities.  Why do you think the federal government is trying to take over all zoning and is shipping illegal aliens to cities?  The Left doesn’t care about the climate, or the planet, or whether you live or die, so long as whoever’s left votes for Democrats.  The object isn’t clean air, it’s absolute control.  When you’re cold, hungry, and sitting in the dark, you won’t have time to think about what happened to your constitutional rights.

When the God-awful 1962 New York Mets got to spring training that first year, their manager, Casey Stengel, surveyed his new team and asked, “Can’t anybody here play this game?”  We might well ask the same thing of the Biden Administration.  When Corrupt Demented Imbecile Joe Biden conducted his presidential campaign from his basement, and every utterance he issued turned out to be incomprehensible word salad, we kind of got the idea that someone other than Old Joe would be pulling the strings behind the scenes at the White House.  And with drooling stunad Joe Biden sitting in the big boy chair, most people thought that was a good thing.  And it could have worked, if only the people pulling the strings had any idea what the F they were doing.  We’ve all heard the old saw, “elections have consequences.”  That’s very true, of course, but there’s a limit.  The winning Party might want to spend more here, rather than there.  The nub of the problem is that Joe Biden’s victory in 2020 represented nothing more than the electorate’s decision to replace Donald Trump with someone else.  The Democrats understood this in the 2020 campaign.  Biden was sold as a moderate, who would unify the country, and calm the nation after Raging Bull Trump.  The Democrats knew they were lying, but enough voters believed them.  Remember the Democrat Party line just after Biden’s inauguration?  “Our national nightmare is over.  The adults are back in control.”  This bolstered their campaign lies.  How many times have you heard, “It’s not Trump’s policies, it’s his personality I object to.  Too many tweets.”  Democrats promised a return to normalcy.  The Mad Tweeter gone, and just good solid government.  Nobody signed up for Biden’s “beautiful transition” of America from the envy of the world to a Third World hellhole.  If Biden had said, “If elected, I’ll throw open the southern border and admit millions of illegal aliens to take your jobs,” would he have won?  If he’d said, “Once in office, I’m going to more than double the cost of gasoline, destroy the oil industry, ban gasoline cars, and drive the price of heating fuel so high some of you will have to decide whether to starve or freeze,” would he have won?  If he’d said, “I promise runaway inflation, high interest rates that will collapse the housing market, and shortages of everything including baby formula,” would anyone have voted for the senile SOB?  Yet Biden’s handlers have stumbled and bumbled themselves into all these plus many more.  Biden’s approval ratings are in the toilet, and the mid-term elections are fast approaching, with the prospect of the Democrats losing one or both Houses of Congress.  It’s crunch time.  The Democrat brand is mud, and Biden has to rally his troops.  So, last week, Biden decided to remedy his problem by giving what has become known as “The Speech From Hell.”   Biden stood in Independence Hall against a blood-red background that looked hellish, backed up by U.S. Marines.

Fresh from his speech calling half the country semi-fascists, Biden doubled down, “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic.”  “As I stand here tonight, equality and democracy are under assault.  MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards.”  He added a classic Biden self-contradiction saying, “The Republican Party today is dominated, driven and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans.  And that is a threat to this country.”  Then adding,  “Not even a majority of Republicans, are MAGA Republicans. ”  Biden called on Americans “to stop the assault on American democracy.”  How?  By voting for his Party, or by voting for candidates with no connection to President Trump?  No.  Strangely, Biden didn’t suggest meeting this imaginary threat by exercising our right to vote.  He said, “We are all called by duty and conscience to confront extremists who put their own pursuit of power above all else.”  Then after exhorting the populace to rise up and confront the semi-fascist, extremist, MAGA enemies of the State, Biden threw in a joke, “But I’m an American president.  Not a president of red America, blue America.”  The speech was so bad even two CNN commentators panned it, and it spawned editorials questioning Biden’s mental health.  But roll back to the beginning of this piece.  Biden’s not really the one in charge.  He didn’t write the speech, he just read it.  Which leads us to the conclusion that it’s not just Biden who’s nuts, it’s all his handlers too.  But maybe there’s a method to their madness.  Why outrage and antagonize 50% of the voters weeks before a mid-term election?  Quite possibly for two reasons.  Biden’s making Trump the enemy even though Trump’s not on any ballot in November because the Democrats have to run against Trump.  Trump hatred put them in power.  If they can’t run against Trump, what can they do, run on their records?  Democrat turnout in mid-terms is always lower than in presidential years.  Two thirds of the country wants change, and Republicans were already motivated to vote.  So Biden’s speech was a call to arms for Democrats to rise up and slay their enemies.  That’s why “From Hell” was the best title for this piece.  If you’ve ever seen the movie Omen III – The Final Conflict, Biden’s call to destroy MAGA was reminiscent of Damian’s, “Slay the Nazarene” speech.  But I digress.  The bottom line is that the Dems have concluded they have nothing good to sell to voters in 2022.  Republicans have to be the great evil so they can be the lesser evil.  Not a very inspiring message.  The speech is also for 2024.  Democrats have spent seven years painting Trump as the Great Satan.  If they can’t run against Trump they’re toast in 2024, and they know it.  Second reason – Biden is desperate to keep control of Congress because if Republicans win, their investigations will uncover the crimes of the Biden Crime Family.  So Joe Biden the Unifier was sent out to call half the electorate extremist scum who are threats to democracy.  It was a dirty and dangerous political ploy, which reeks of desperation.  It was low, even for Democrats.  And it displayed kindly old Uncle Joe in a new, creepy red-tinged light.

But is he Il Duce, or just an old douchebag?   You decide.

This week, Corrupt Demented Imbecile Joe Biden rolled out the Democrat Party line for the upcoming elections.  I’ll get to the details in due time, but for those who want an abbreviated version, this is it – Donald Trump is a dangerous criminal, all Republicans are dangerous criminals, and if you support any of them, then you’re a dangerous criminal too.  I discussed the “threats to democracy” meme last week, and that thread is picked up in the latest Democrat BS fest.  In that same vein, it’s ironic, yet not surprising, that in their zeal to protect what they consider democracy, Democrats are blissfully oblivious to the fact that they continually employ the tactics of totalitarian dictators.  As I’ve often observed – brain damage.  But they’ve truly gone off the rails this time.  Sleepy Joe went to a fundraiser where he said, “What we’re seeing now is either the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA philosophy.  It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the, I’m going to say something: It’s like semi-fascism.”  According to CNN no less, and there is no less, Biden used the presidential bully pulpit to paint Republicans as extremists.  Sounds more like plain old bullshit to me.  It’s inflammatory, it’s insulting, and it’s one of the biggest lies ever uttered by a president whose entire administration is being supported by a tissue of lies, duly sworn to by the lapdogs of the media.  That Biden and his co-conspirators would spew such a perverted version of history is to be expected.  The acceptance of and the perpetuation of such blatant bullcrap by the media, no matter it’s leftward bent, is an abomination.  Even Democrats would agree that Benito Mussolini was a dedicated fascist.  So, once and for all, let me remind the Left of Mussolini’s definition of fascism.  “Everything inside the State.  Nothing outside the State.  And nothing against the State.”  This means that fascists want the government to control every aspect of your life from the cradle to the grave.  They expect the government to dictate what may be done by every industry.  And they will tolerate absolutely no opposition to their policies.  Forgive me, but does this sound more like Ted Cruz or Chuck Schumer?  The Democrats stand for each and every component of fascism as that term was defined by its founder, Benito Mussolini.  Democrats like to warn about the “slippery slope,” but their own descent from painting not only their chief political rival as an extremist criminal, but anyone who dares to associate with or support him as equally guilty, demonstrates that they’re hurtling down that slope at high speed, heading for a cliff.  The Party that’s so concerned about the proper use of pronouns, clearly pays little attention to the nouns and adjectives it employs.  Biden’s latest insult to Republicans is nothing new.  Fox News contributor Nikolas Lanum detailed many other examples in a recent article.  Hillary Clinton said that half of her opponents represented a “basket of deplorables.”  Biden uses MAGA as a pejorative, calling the MAGA agenda “extreme,”and Trump “the MAGA king.”  Since MAGA stands for Make America Great Again, I fail to see how that’s an insult.  Nancy Pelosi  has referred to Republicans as “enemies of the state” and “domestic enemies.”  Tiffany Cross (Who?), told Joy Reid that people need to start calling Trump supporters racist, and compared the MAGA hat to the swastika, or KKK hood.   Former Homeland Security official Miles Taylor compared Republicans to jihadists.  MSNBC arsonist Dean Obeidallah said the Republican Party is a “White nationalist movement” and a “fascist threat” to the nation.  MSNBC’s Jason Johnson called Republicans “a dime storefront for a terrorist movement.”  A DNC spokes-assassin added, “The Republican Party is basically a domestic terrorist cell at this point, and they should be treated as such.” MSNBC hitman Fernand Armandi advised, “There is no alternative right now because the Republican Party today is a fascist, authoritarian project.”  But perhaps the most laughable quote came from MSNBC’s Donny Deutsch, who said that Republicans were the party of “knuckleheads, weirdos and freaks.”  Seriously?  This from a member of the Democrat cabal?  Knuckleheads, weirdos and freaks, huh?  Look around your own house

Those bastards could have been in the Star Wars bar scene.  But seriously, do these Democrat rabblerousers hear the things that come out of their stupid mouths.  They should consider their own words, and review their own policies.  And it is against this backdrop that Joe Biden gave a national address this week on “the soul of America,” in which he again demonized half the electorate.  He shouldn’t lecture us about a soul until he examines his own, if any.  Simply put, the hands of these Democrat agitators are not clean.  The imaginary crimes of Republicans pale in comparison to the actual crimes of these Democrat blowhards.  Their colossal hypocrisy put me in mind of the chief Russian prosecutor at the Nuremberg trials.  Like today’s Democrats, General Roman Rudenko’s tactic was to constantly attack, ending nearly every question with, “Do you now confess yourself to be a fascist beast?” Rudenko argued, “The defendants knew that cynical mockery of the laws and customs of war constituted the gravest of crimes.  And just because the German people were made to participate in these outrages, because, prior to setting packs of dogs and executioners on millions of innocent people, the defendants for years had poisoned the conscience and the mind of an entire generation of Germans by developing in them the conceit of ‘the chosen,’ the morals of cannibals, and the greed of burglars, can it be said on account of these facts that the guilt of the Hitlerite conspirators is any less great or any less grave?”  Curious indeed, coming from the Russians, as Stalin killed as many, if not more than Hitler, and the Russians killed every soldier, raped every woman, and stole entire factories during their invasion of and departure from Germany in 1945.  So here’s some advice for Democrats. You really shouldn’t throw around labels like “fascist” if you don’t know what they mean.  You really shouldn’t use the political system to try to criminalize any opposition to your policies.  And, if you want to see a real fascist, just look in the mirror.

Democrats continually lecture us on things that they claim are “existential threats to democracy.”  It’s as though they think that, because the word “Democrat” has roots in the word “democracy” they’re the final word on what does or doesn’t threaten “our democracy.”  They are wrong on so many fronts.  First of all, the United States isn’t a pure democracy.  According to Merriam-Webster, a pure democracy is a form of government in which the power is exercised directly by the people rather than through representatives.  That’s not our government.  We might forgive Democrats however, as Merriam-Webster also tells us that the word “democracy” is used to describe a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people, and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation, usually involving periodically held free elections.  In other words, a representative democracy, which is much closer to the government we’re supposed to have.  Remember the prophetic words of Benjamin Franklin who, when asked, “what type of government have you given us?” said, “A republic, if you can keep it.”  We managed to keep it for 234 years, but then the Woke Democrat Left took control.  And because to them, facts no longer matter, the truth no longer matters, and reality no longer matters, Democrats have appointed themselves the supreme arbiters of threats to “our democracy.”  I’ll boil it down for you.  To the Woke Imbecile Left, anything that endangers their ability to continue to wield unbridled Fascist-Socialist power is, “a threat to our democracy.”  In this, the Left is as screwed up in the head as on most things, because their premise, as with all things Woke, is false.  Let’s consider some of the things that the Left has labelled “threats to our democracy.”  The greatest “threat to our democracy” according to the Left is, you guessed it, Donald Trump.  They were saying that before he was elected President.  Once again, we might want to cut them some slack on this one, because when they say “our democracy” what they mean is the government into which our republican form of government has evolved, namely, a system in which rich bastards from both major Parties get elected time after time by promising to do the bidding of the voters, while actually ignoring them, feathering their own nests, making money by insider trading, lying, cheating, screwing all political opponents, and then leaving office only to make more money by becoming lobbyists.  You know, “our” democracy.  Think of La Cosa Nostra, “this thing of ours.”  It’s really the same thing.  When Don Corleone mused, “Senator Corleone,  Governor Corleone,” he didn’t know how right he was.  According to the Left, Trump was and is a threat to democracy because he dared to run and further dared to win election.  They now say, should he be reelected, that would be “the greatest threat to democracy.”  Once again, that’s by the Leftist definition of democracy, not the real definition.  One would think that if the American people choose to reelect Donald Trump in a free election, that would be the very essence of democracy, but not for the Left.  Take the recent case of Liz Cheney.  She chose to vote to impeach Trump, twice.  She then chose to sit on the January 6th Kangaroo Court, uh, I mean Committee, and she’s repeatedly denounced Trump as “a threat to our democracy.”  Last week, she lost her Republican primary in Wyoming by 37%.  The result was best summed up by Steve Bannon, who noted that, after all Cheney’s ranting about democracy, she had received “a democracy suppository.”  I couldn’t put it any better.  I guess you have to watch what you ask for.  Democrats also say gerrymandering is a threat to democracy.  But only when they’re not doing it.  When they create a district two blocks wide and 97 miles long it enhances “equity” and strengthens “democracy.”  Any Republican redistricting is, by definition, racist and “undemocratic.”  Of course, they’ve forgotten, if they ever knew, that Elbridge Gerry, the man for whom the practice is named, was a member of the”Democratic-Republican” Party, the ancestor of today’s Democrats.  No matter.  That’s reality, and, I’m sure reality also is a threat to our democracy.  Democrats also say the Supreme Court is a threat to democracy, when it doesn’t agree with them.  Biden spokes-imbecile Karine Jean-Pierre even has said that the Court’s recent abortion decision was “unconstitutional.”  Of course, the Court is in the Constitution, and making those decisions is its job, so I guess that means that the Constitution itself is a threat to democracy.  Don’t laugh, the Left really believes that.  According to the Woke nuts, the electoral college is a threat, and the section of the Constitution that puts State Legislatures in charge of their elections and choosing electors is a threat.  You get that?  Elections conducted in accordance with the supreme law of the land threaten democracy.  Creating and enforcing immigration laws is in the Constitution.  Guess what?  They say that’s also a threat to democracy.  What else?  Oh yes.  Having only two Senators from each State is a threat.  There would be no United States without that provision, but who you gonna believe?  The Founding Fathers, or some Communist professor who’s never had a real job?  Oh right, another major threat is “election deniers.”  These are people who dare to complain after being screwed by voter fraud that results in the elections of Democrats.  How dare they?  Of course, if Bush or Trump wins an election, denying the result isn’t a threat, it’s a virtue.  If you’re getting the impression that Democrats are either grossly ignorant, or else are duplicitous lying bastards, you’re on the right track.  Which is not to suggest that the Republican Party is blameless.  Far from it.  The inconvenient truth is that the true state of our government was neatly summed up more than 50 years ago by the writers Thomas Dye and Harmon Ziegler, in their book, The Irony of Democracy.  In it, Dye and Ziegler revealed the uncomfortable truth.  The U.S. isn’t a democracy.  The little people don’t rule.  It’s not even a classic republic.  Instead, it’s what is sometimes called an oligarchy.  A system run by a small number of the very rich.  Dye and Ziegler concluded that it was a good thing the people don’t rule, for if left to a popular vote, many of our constitutional freedoms would be cancelled.  Better to let the elites lead, to protect the system.  The trouble with their hypothesis today is that too many elites (think Woke billionaires) are committed to the cancellation of our constitutional rights and the destruction of our system.  Maybe it’s time for a new book, The Perils of Oligarchy.  Maybe the populists would do a better job.  It’s not a new debate.  Federalist Alexander Hamilton favored the elites, declaring “the people is a beast.”  In contrast, Democratic-Republican Thomas Jefferson mused, “a little rebellion now and then is a good thing.”  Which philosophy will prevail?  Only time will tell.                 

By now you’ve all heard about the FBI’s raid on President Trump’s Mar a Lago home and office.  If there was any doubt before the raid that the Deep State will stop at nothing to destroy all things Trump, then no doubt remains.  The persecution of Trump employees and supporters has been a display of unrelenting tyranny.  Trump staffers hounded, prosecuted on trumped up charges, and imprisoned.  January 6th protestors, many of whom were no more than trespassers, jailed for more than a year.  New York is prosecuting the Trump Organization and its CEO for minor tax offenses, despite annual IRS and New York State tax audits which revealed no violations.  The New York Attorney General is trying to sue or prosecute Trump family members on the laughable basis that any time a real estate developer overstates the value of his properties that’s a crime.  If so, they’d all be in jail.  Meanwhile, grand juries in Georgia and Arizona are trying to indict Trump for daring to suggest that there was election fraud in those States.  If that’s a crime, then hook up every Democrat in the Congress, because all of them challenged the legality of the 2016 election, and the 2004 election, and the 2000 election.  The January 6th Kangaroo Court, I mean Committee, continues its reign or terror.  Steve Bannon was convicted of contempt of Congress, even though he agreed to testify. (I always thought that was rich – contempt of contemptible lying bastards).  Peter Navarro was handcuffed and shackled by the FBI for failing to submit to the January 6th Inquisition.   Trump lawyer Jeffrey Clark was dragged from his home in his underwear and handcuffed by FBI thugs who raided his house looking for highly dangerous paperwork.  In the spring, Corrupt Demented Imbecile Joe Biden criticized Attorney General Merritt Garland for acting more like a judge than a prosecutor when dealing with President Trump.  So I guess Garland was trying to save his phony baloney job when he authorized the raid on Mar a Lago.  Oh, by the way, CNN says we can’t call it a raid because the FBI doesn’t use that word.  Screw CNN and screw the FBI.  I was a prosecutor for 25 years, every search warrant execution uses “raid teams.”  They’re twisting the language to make what they did in Florida seem like a routine occurrence.  It wasn’t.  Like everything the wrongly named “Justice” Department has done against Donald Trump, it was unnecessary, excessive, and arguably illegal.  Remember that the Justice Department campaign against Trump didn’t start after the 2020 election.  That’s just the latest insult.  The Mar a Lago raid may have been illegal, but there is no doubt that the activities of Justice, the FBI and CIA both before and after the 2016 election were indisputably illegal.  Media whores who lately dismiss as conspiracy theorists Trump supporters’ who fear the raid may have been based on phony evidence, or an attempt to plant evidence,  ignore the fact that the 2016-2017 Trump witch hunt, pardon me, the FBI doesn’t use that term, they prefer “insurance policy,” was entirely based on Hillary’s bought and paid for false Russian dossier, lies from convicted perjurer Michael Cohen, lies in court affidavits by an FBI agent, and FISA warrants containing false information.  They called it Operation Crossfire Hurricane.  Remember that name.  Against that backdrop, excuse us if we continue to suspect that the Justice Department and the FBI are full of shit.  The Mar a Lago search warrant affidavit was sealed.  That means we can’t see what evidence was used to get the warrant.  We’re told that it related to The Classified Documents Act, which isn’t a criminal law, and the Espionage Act, which deals with persons taking classified materials.  The problem with that is that the Espionage Act doesn’t apply to a president, who can declassify any document for any reason.  Trump lawyers say all documents they had were declassified.  The Espionage Act applies to people like Clinton henchman Sandy Berger, who got caught trying to smuggle classified materials out of the National Archives stuffed in his socks. (He got probation).  But the Mar a Lago raid was even worse.  Trump and the National Archives have been working together to make sure anything sensitive was returned to the Archives.  This is routine, and the FBI had been to the Florida storage area, and had suggested the addition of a lock, which was installed, and which the FBI broke during the raid.  Il Duce Obama left the White House with 30 million pages of presidential documents.  The FBI never raided his house to search through Michele’s underwear drawer.  The Mar a Lago warrant was for all presidential papers from 2017 to 2021.  That’s everything.  Trump had declassified the evidence showing Operation Crossfire Hurricane to be a Justice Department coup attempt.  There’s speculation that the raid was an attempt to recover that evidence.  The agents who ran Crossfire Hurricane also handled the raid in Florida.  Just a coincidence?  Leftist attempts to paint the raid as a routine procedure are bald-faced lies.  This is unprecedented.  The fact is that the FBI has treated Donald Trump, not as a president, but as a criminal target since 2015.  Never forget that James Comey went to his first meeting with President Trump to gather information to be used in Crossfire Hurricane, to remove him from office.  They infiltrated the Trump campaign.  They set up and smeared General Flynn, George Pappadopolis and Carter Page.  They persecuted Paul Manafort.  Every step of the way, the FBI has conducted itself, not as the straight-arrow law enforcement agents they pretend to be, but as jack-booted thugs, reminiscent of the 1940’s Fascists.  People don’t like comparisons to the German Gestapo, so I won’t go there.  Other thugs with badges come to mind.  The Japanese had the Kempeitai, the military Secret Police, sometimes compared to George Orwell’s Thought Police.  The Kempeitai “generally performed the Japanese government’s dirty work with enthusiasm and zeal.” (Sound familiar?)  The Kempeitai’s civilian counterpart, the Tokubetsu Kōtō Keisatsu (Tokko) was charged with carrying out “high policing,” domestic criminal investigations, and control of political groups and ideologies deemed to threaten the public order of the Empire. (Sound familiar?)  The Tokko were known as the Special Higher Police.  Ah, what was the title of James Comey’s book?  That’s right, A Higher Loyalty.  By the Grand High Exalted Mystic Ruler of the U.S. version of the Special Higher Police.  Just another coincidence, I’m sure.  The Deep State has declared Donald Trump a threat to the order of its Empire, which it calls a “democracy.” The empire of graft, corruption, insider trading, lies and subversion.  Just listen to them, on both sides.  Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Dick Cheney, Liz Cheney, the Bushes, Karl Rove, et al., all say Trump is the greatest threat to “our democracy.”  What he threatens is not “our democracy,” but their opportunities to steal and wield power.
