The title of this week’s piece comes from that inimitable paragon of morality and propriety, the Reverend Al Sharpton.  Return with me back to 2014.  Sharpton, who even then had a show on MSNBC, was exhorting his tens of viewers to do what the Left does best – Resist.  But in rallying his troops, the Right (or is it Left?) Reverend spoiled his sentiment by tripping over his teleprompter.  Who could forget the depth of his wisdom?  “But resist we much.  We must and we will much about that be committed.”  Amen Brother.

And for that, MSNBC pays the Rev $1.5 million.  And that’s on top of the more than $1 million a year the Rev skims from from his own charity.  You know what they say, charity begins at home.  And $500,000 of the total in the coffers of his charity came from the Kamala Harris campaign, so consider it payment for services rendered.  But Al is still on the air, stirring the pot, and fomenting “resistance.”

The Rev’s ratings may not be very high, but there’s no doubt that segments of the insane asylum commonly known as the Democrat Party have taken the Rev’s wisdom to heart, and have dedicated themselves to the “resist, we much” proposition.

Most of the resistance is aimed at the Trump Administration’s efforts to enforce our immigration laws, and to Trump’s use of federal law enforcement and National Guard troops in so-called Blue cities.

First it was Washington, D.C.  Trump sent in the National Guard and surged federal law enforcement to drastically reduce crime that was out of control.  As with all things liberal, the Leftists running the Capitol District denied that there was a problem, and reflexively opposed Trump’s action because they oppose all things Trump.

As usual, it was the Leftists who created the problem.  Over about ten years, the murder rate in D.C. doubled, to 27.4 per 100,000, even higher than the rate in that other Hellhole, Chicago.  More about that city later.  D.C. also permitted juvenile offenders to run amok by failing to prosecute violent offenders as adults.  Trump came in, kicked ass, took names, and crime in D.C. is under control.

Chicago was next.  ICE conducted operations to remove violent illegal aliens.  The City and State resisted.  The Trump surge of federal agents and National Guard to combat crime came next, because crime in Chicago was rampant.

Every weekend, scores of residents are shot by the violent gangsters who the City permits to prey upon Chicagoans.  Shootings Are so frequent they have become routine, like sports scores.  “This weekend, 22 were shot and 4 were killed.”  Holiday weekends are double-headers.  Over Labor Day weekend, “58 shot and 8 killed.”

President Trump surveyed the carnage, and decided that something had to be done.  Trump announced, “We’re going in.”  “Chicago is the worst most dangerous city in the World, by far.  Pritzker needs help badly, he just doesn’t know it yet.  I will solve the crime problem fast, just like I did in DC. Chicago will be safe again, and soon.”

The elected officials in the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois resisted.  Much.  Governor Pritzker called Trump’s remarks “unhinged.”  Pritzker said the president’s plan was “unprecedented and unwarranted.  It is illegal, it is unconstitutional, it is un-American.”

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, he who sports a 7% approval rating, said he had “grave concerns about the impact of any unlawful deployment of National Guard troops to the city of Chicago.”  He called Trump’s approach “uncoordinated, uncalled for, and unsound.” Johnson also said that deploying the National Guard in Chicago could “inflame tensions between residents and law enforcement.”  Bullshit.  The residents can’t have tensions with a group they rarely see.

Mayor Johnson called the federal actions unconstitutional and politically motivated.  This was stupid in the extreme.  Trump didn’t go into Chicago to win votes there.  It’s just the opposite.  Trump is using his political capital to protect the helpless citizens that State and local officials have abandoned.  He didn’t have to do it, but he places more value on innocent lives than the people elected to protect them.

Then Pritzker doubled down.  He has threatened to prosecute federal law enforcement agents for the crime of doing their jobs.  “Unlike Donald Trump, we keep our promises.”  “We will not stand idly by if he decides to send the National Guard to intimidate Chicagoans.”  “Action will be met with a response.”  Unless that response is to get his fat ass out of the way, the Gov’s going to have a problem.

Pritzker wasn’t kidding.  He sued Trump, and got a leftist federal judge to halt the National Guard deployment.  Temporarily.  Then an appeals court affirmed the injunction – for a short time.  Then the same court reversed itself and removed the injunction.  Perhaps somebody called the court and said, “Hey, remember that Constitution you swore to uphold?  It’s the one that authorizes the Commander in Chief to federalize the National Guard.  Right, that Constitution.”

But “resist they much.”  The real question is, exactly what is it that  they’re resisting?  Mayor Johnson says the federal action is un-American.  Is it?  No.  The idea that the highest duty of government is to protect its citizens in their homes and on the streets is the essence of the American ideal.

And let’s put Americanism aside.  How about common decency and common sense.  More than 4,000 Chicagoans have been murdered under Governor Pritzker’s reign.  He doesn’t care.  He has neither common decency nor common sense.

Okay, if he has no sense, how about self-interest?  The Democrats who run these resistant cities rely on the votes of People of Color.  And it is those people who bear the brunt of Blue City officials’ failure to protect them.  They are the murder, robbery, and rape victims.  Morons like Pritzker and Johnson are destroying part of their base.

Unfortunately for the helpless victims, they’re not the part of the Democrat base that the leftist elected officials pay attention to.  They only listen to leftist billionaires, crazed Socialists, college educated grievance mongers, labor union thugs, and childless cat ladies.  They just don’t have the time to worry about thousands of poor black victims.

The “resist we much” crowd is nothing less than insane.  Their mania to oppose anything and everything that President Trump does has even caused them to abandon the first principle of State and local governing.  That principle is this – If the federal government is willing to do an expensive and dangerous job for you, and is willing to pay for it, you let them do it.  Never mind let them do it.  You get your Senators and Representatives to make sure the Feds do it and pay for it.

In this case they’re willing to give all that up simply to resist Trump.  In so doing they’re resisting lower crime, public protection, lower taxes, a more satisfied electorate, and humanity itself.  In their zeal to resist Trump their helpless constituents are simply collateral damage.  They’re nuts, and the public has noticed.  Republicans have gained 3 million more registered voters, while Democrats have lost 2 million.  If Democrats don’t snap out of it and begin to do their jobs they’re liable to disappear as a political Party.  Anyone remember the Whigs?  The “resist everything” psychosis is sowing the seeds of their own destruction.  Me thinks they resist too much, and all of them ought to be committed.

When they win, Democrats are fond of telling us that “elections have consequences.”  I’m sure you’ve heard that phrase before.  But clearly, they don’t believe that there are consequences when they lose an election.  The aftermath of the 2024 election is a perfect example.

Last November, Trump won all 7 swing States.  In those States, 77% of the voters said the Democrats immigration policy was wrong.  Among voters in all States, 65% disapproved of the Biden border policy.  Kamala was Biden’s border czar.  She never bothered to visit the border, and she told the heifers of The View she couldn’t think of any Biden policy she would change.  Is it any wonder she lost?

Clearly, Trump ran on a platform of securing the border and enforcing our immigration laws.  The voters elected him to do just that.  Moreover, even absent any promise regarding immigration, President Trump, like any Chief Executive, has a duty to see that the laws of the United States, including U.S. Code Title 8, which governs immigration, are “faithfully executed.” (U.S. Constitution, Article II, section 3).

Trump went right to work.  He secured the border, and began deporting the untold millions of illegal aliens admitted by Biden, which included hundreds of thousands of violent criminals.  Since January, 2 million illegals have gotten the message and have voluntarily left the U.S.  In addition, we are on track to deport some 600,000 illegals this year.

However, a problem has arisen.  It seems that there are some parts of our nation, including entire States, which have rejected the Constitution, and which are rebelling against the federal government’s attempts to faithfully execute the laws of the land.  What we have here is, in effect, the New Confederacy.

As this is written, ICE, and other federal law enforcement agencies, are engaged in what amounts to open warfare in the streets of Chicago, Illinois and Portland, Oregon.  Violent protests, including the obligatory Antifa bastards hurling bricks, shooting fireworks, using smoke bombs, shooting at ICE officers and properties, and committing arson, are ongoing in Chicago and Portland.

The ICE agents are under siege, and the local authorities, not only won’t come to their assistance, but are supporting the violent protestors, and are blaming, you guessed it, President Trump, for daring to enforce laws that were enacted by Democrat controlled Congresses.

It’s gotten so bad that the President has had to send National Guard troops to Portland and Chicago to protect federal property and personnel.  Against the backdrop of the sniper shooting at the ICE office in Dallas, 100 consecutive days of mayhem in Portland, and the open rebellion by Illinois elected officials, no prudent Chief Executive could have done less.

I say open rebellion because that’s the path Illinois officials have chosen to take.  Last week, ICE vehicles were rammed by a 10 car convoy of “protestors,” who boxed-in and menaced the ICE agents.  When ICE called Chicago police for assistance, the Chief of Dispatch explicitly ordered that no police be sent to the scene.

The driver of the convoy car that rammed the officers was a woman who had been cited by ICE for doxxing officers, and who had written, “Hey, to all my gang let’s f— those mother f—— up, don’t let them take anyone.”  Nice.  She was armed with a handgun, and wound up being shot by ICE officers.

The order preventing police from coming to the assistance of brother law enforcement officers is an unprecedented insult to every man and woman wearing a badge.  We’ve come a long way from 9/11, when Chicago police officers took one look at the towers coming down, got into their car, and drove to New York to help, without any orders to do so.

Then it got worse.  This week we’ve heard continuous bashing of the ICE operation in Chicago from bloated gasbag Governor Pritzker, who’s claiming that ICE and the National Guard are illegally in Chicago.  Useless Idiot, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has signed an Executive Order declaring ICE Free Zones in the city.  He called ICE officers “a rogue, reckless group of heavily armed, masked individuals” and declared certain parts of the city off-limits to federal law enforcement officers.  On Monday, Johnson doubled down on stupid, claiming that the Trump Administration wants “a rematch of the Civil War.”  Seriously?  Remember who won that one, Brandon?

Portland has experienced nightly violence for months.   Independent journalists trying to report on the chaos, because the lap dog media won’t, have been assaulted.  Journalist Katie Daviscourt identified the person who punched her in the eye.  Police refused to act.  Journalist Nick Sortor was assaulted by a crowd of Antifa thugs.  Portland police arrested Sortor.  Meanwhile, Portland officials deny that anything but “peaceful protests” are going on, and denounce federal immigration enforcement.

The situation has gone beyond the ridiculous.  After having their offices shot at, ICE officials boarded up the windows of their leased headquarters.  Portland officials took immediate action.  They issued ICE a zoning violation.  In addition to being an unconstitutional insult, the zoning violation also is pure bullshit.  Whether owned or leased by the federal government, the building is federal property, and thus not subject to local zoning regulations.

The actions of the officials in Chicago and Portland is nothing less than an open defiance of our Constitution, which clearly states that the Constitution and  federal laws are the supreme laws of the land, overriding any State or local laws to the contrary. (U.S. Constitution, Article VI).

By their actions, the officials in Illinois and Oregon have declared themselves to be in outright rebellion.  That’s what I mean by the New Confederacy.  The notion that States may violate or ignore federal laws that they consider to be unjust is what’s called nullification.  Nullification was the stock and trade of the Confederate States before and during the Civil War.  They were all Democrats.  Nullification is the basis used by Democrats in Southern States who sought to stop the federal government from enforcing civil rights legislation by invoking “States rights.”

The nullification of the confederate States led to a civil war that killed more than 600,000 people.  Attempts at nullification by the likes of George Wallace and Arkansas Governor Faubus are what motivated President Eisenhower to send in the National Guard, and President Kennedy to send the 82nd Airborne in to enforce federal law.

The notion of nullification does not exist in the law.  The federal government, and only the federal government, is responsible for enforcing immigration laws.  Even Il Duce Obama understood this, because he sued the State of Arizona, and the Supreme Court ruled that States cannot assume such enforcement efforts.

The federal government has the right and the duty to go into any State to enforce the law, and to send in troops to protect its assets.  Any State or local official who tries to frustrate these efforts is breaking the law, and engaging in – dare I say it?  An insurrection.

A liberal magazine has even encouraged the insurrectionists to carry out what they call “a soft secession.”  The Trump Administration is fighting back.  It is investigating the illegal acts occurring in Illinois and Oregon.  The Antifa thugs are being supplied with their deadly equipment by some person, persons, organizations or State actors who are seeking to undermine our nation.  This is nothing less than armed rebellion.  The President must put it down by any means necessary.

I’ve heard it said that “what goes around comes around.”  Former FBI Director James Comey had lots of dirty things going around before the bar of justice came around and he was indicted for obstruction of justice and lying to Congress.  Those charges represent just the tip of the filthy iceberg when it comes to Comey’s misconduct.  The charges were brought now because of an impending statute of limitations deadline.  More charges for Comey and others will likely be Comeying in the future.

James Comey was at the center of nothing less than a coup de etat, designed  first to keep Donald Trump from being elected in 2016, and then to drive him from office once he was elected.  Many others participated in this conspiracy, but Comey was the key figure.

Comey was the key because of his position.  Director of the FBI.  From that post, he had the ability to use the FBI and the Justice Department to affect the 2016 election and its aftermath.  He did just that.

On July 28, 2016, then-CIA Director John Brennan briefed Obama on a plan from Clinton foreign policy advisor Jake Sullivan (later Biden’s National Security Advisor), “to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service.” James Comey, Joe Biden, Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper attended the briefing.

Smear jobs by political rivals are commonplace.  It’s no surprise that the Hillary campaign would stoop so low, as she had her own problems, stemming from her use of an unsecured server, which led to the hacking of thousands of emails containing classified material.  Comey was supposed to be investigating that.  What he, Il Duce Obama, Brennan, Clapper, and AG Loretta Lynch were not supposed to do was to take what they knew to be false information and use it to investigate, and then smear Donald Trump during and after an election.  But that’s precisely what they did do.

Comey left a trail of emails.  Here’s the one that proves  he knew what he had been given was false.  “Per FBI verbal request, CIA provides the below examples of information the CROSSFIRE HURRICANE fusion cell has gleaned to date.” “An exchange (REDACTED) discussing US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s approval of a plan concerning US presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russian hackers hampering US elections as a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server.”  Translation – “This is a political hit job, made up by Hillary.”  The reference to “fusion cell” likely refers to the Strategic Intelligence Group, Fusion GPS, which Hillary hired to produce the false Steele Dossier which contained supposed embarrassing information about Trump.  The Fusion GPS director has since testified that his organization had a mole in the Trump campaign who provided information.  Steele himself has testified that the claims in the dossier were “unconfirmed.”  Translation – He just made that shit up.

Comey used the false “Russia is interfering in the election” smear, and the completely false Steele Dossier in Operation Crossfire Hurricane, an investigation, not to investigate Hillary’s misconduct, but instead to spy on the Trump campaign, and later on President Trump.  Comey signed three of four FISA Court warrant applications that authorized wiretapping of the Trump campaign and Administration.  The warrants were based on the Steele Dossier.  Comey vouched for former FBI informant Christopher Steele as a trusted source, although he had fired Steele for lying to the FBI.  That conduct was itself a crime.

Before the 2016 election, Comey went on TV to tell the world that, although Hillary Clinton did improperly possess classified documents, “no prosecutor would bring that case,” thus disposing of her potential legal problems before election day.  Meanwhile, Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Il Duce, and even Joe Biden, continued to stir the pot on Russian interference.

When Trump was elected, Comey went to him, not as a subordinate, but as an investigator dealing with a criminal target.  Comey wrote a report of his discussion with the President, which he shared with close friend, and Columbia law professor, Daniel Richman.  More about him later.  The Russia hoax investigation led to a special prosecutor, crippled Trump’s first term, and two impeachments followed.

Comey got away with lying to federal judges.  The indictment charges him with lying to Congress in testimony he gave in 2020.  At that hearing, Comey was questioned about whether he authorized others to leak information about the Russia investigation.  Comey denied it.  Problem is that the aforementioned Daniel Richman has testified to investigators that he did just that.  He regularly took information Comey shared with him, which included classified information, and passed some of it to the New York Times.

Former FBI General Counsel James Baker told investigators that he was instructed to leak information to the Times, and he understood that the orders had come from Comey.  And we know for a fact that the media took the leaked information and ran with it.

I’ll never forget watching NBC news on election night 2016 (just to enjoy their pain).  Overcome with shock, at 1:26 a.m., Lester Holt and other commentators reminded America that there was Russian interference in the election which may have affected its result.  Where did that notion come from?  James Comey, with a big assist from Congressman (now Senator) Adam Schiff for brains, who also was leaking his ass off.

What Comey and company did was far more than a political dirty tricks campaign.  That happens all the time.  What Comey and the others did was to weaponize the DOJ, the FBI, and the rest of the intelligence agencies to undo the will of the people who had chosen Donald Trump as their President.  Simply put, Comey and the others were the very “existential threat to democracy” that lying Democrats are always harping about.

All that being said, do I think the current charges will result in a conviction which will see Comey behind bars?  Probably not.  The case will be heard by an Obama appointed judge in Virginia.  But I don’t care how it ends, so long as it ends with Comey destitute from having to pay his lawyers.  Hopefully the rest of the conspirators will face charges as well.  Each and every one of them should be forced to endure the same pain and financial ruin, that the Biden Justice Department visited on President Trump and his close supporters.

It’s about time that what has gone around is coming around.  Some may call it retribution.  I don’t care.  There’s no need to seek retribution unless you’ve been wronged first.  Let’s hope the next thing that comes around is justice for Comey, Clapper, Brennan, and company.

I think there’s just been too much going on in the news in recent weeks.  The Russia-Ukraine war rages on.  Israel is attacking Gaza.  The U.S. is blowing Venezuelan drug boats out of the water.  ICE agents are under attack.  And then, the murder of Charlie Kirk and its aftermath.  We really needed a break.  Perhaps that’s why the news this week has been consumed by debate over the plight of formerly nameless, faceless, and humorless late night TV host, Jimmy Kimmel.

Don’t let the title of this piece fool you.  I’m not a Kimmel fan.  In point of fact, I haven’t seen anything he’s done since the days when he appeared on the NFL pregame show on Fox.  At that time he actually was funny.  Prior to that, from 1999 to 2004, Kimmel had a show called the Man Show, which featured such sophisticated comedy as a segment called, “Girls on Trampolines,” in which scantily clad women bounced in the air.  Very educational.

In many respects Kimmel has led a charmed life for a TV performer.  The Girls on Trampolines bit predated what became known as the Me Too movement, so Kimmel escaped the sanctions for sexist misconduct that snared the likes of Al Franken.  Kimmel even repeatedly appeared on TV in blackface, and survived.  Being a left-wing shill means never having to say you’re sorry.

Amazingly, Kimmel began his late night Jimmy Kimmel Live show in 2003.  I say “amazingly” because I hardly noticed.  During those more than 22 years I watched his show a total of Zero times.  From what I’ve heard, the Kimmel show followed a familiar pattern of current late night shows.  He was hired as a comedian, he started out doing funny material, and then decided that, rather than emulating Johnny Carson or Jay Leno, he fancied himself a political commentator.

This is a common occurrence nowadays.  There’s a long list of these pretenders.  Joy Behar was an alleged comedian.  Whoopie Goldberg also did comedy.  Then they decided that they were, not only political experts, but the human embodiment of truth, justice and democracy.  As a result, their show The View (or is it the Herd?), contains no joy and no whoopie.  Instead of entertainment, it’s a daily forum for bitching, carping harridans, howling at the moon.

Steven Colbert and John Stewart also were alleged comedians.  Then they went on TV and went fully political.  Stewart’s show ended, and now Colbert has been fired.

Then, in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, Kimmel went on the air, after it had become obvious that his killer was motivated by hatred of Kirk’s political and religious beliefs, and said this, “We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”

Coming as it did in the brand new, if not to say refreshing, atmosphere in which people saying such blatantly false and infuriating things were being roundly denounced, cancelled, and even fired, Kimmel’s words led directly to his “indefinite suspension” from his ABC show and he was taken off the air.

This action by Disney, which owns ABC, was not surprising.  Since January, Kimmel had lost about half his already limited audience.  Reduced viewership equates to reduced ad revenue.  So what Disney had was a low rated show, that obviously was losing money.  Couple this with unfortunate timing in which Disney is negotiating for a new deal with the NFL, which would be loath to embark on an enterprise with a network that employs an insulting bonehead.

Add to the above the actions of two groups of network affiliates who refused to air Kimmel’s show.  One of the affiliate companies is negotiating a profitable merger, which Kimmel’s idiocy put in jeopardy.  Then add to all this Kimmel’s outright refusal to issue an apology, and is it any wonder all Disney did was to suspend the stupid bastard?  People have been fired for much less.

This scenario would have remained a strictly corporate decision, had not the Trump FCC Commissioner stirred the pot, suggesting that ABC’s broadcast license might be at stake.  As it often does, the movie Network comes again to mind.  “You have meddled with the primal forces of nature [corporate profits] Mr. Kimmel, and you will atone!

The ham-handed intrusion of the FCC permitted the Kimmel incident to quickly be spun as a First Amendment issue.  It never was.  No thinking American could believe that President Trump could dictate to the networks what they should or should not put on the air.  If he could, he wouldn’t have to put up with broadcast network defamation 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

No matter.  The story became the lie that the government had taken Kimmel off the air.  This was, of course a bullshit story, but because the broadcast networks are the official U.S. distributors of bullshit stories, it was enough to muddy the waters to permit Kimmel to play the victim.

So on Tuesday, ABC put Kimmel back on the air, less the stations of the two still highly pissed affiliate companies which account for about a third of his stations.  Kimmel did what all left-wing demagogues do, he played the martyr, making the incident all about himself.

“[I]t was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man.  I don’t think there’s anything funny about it.  I posted a message on Instagram on the day he was killed, sending love to his family and asking for compassion, and I meant it.  And I still do. Nor was it my intention to blame any specific group for the actions of what — it was obviously a deeply disturbed individual. That was really the opposite of the point I was trying to make, but, I understand that, to some, that felt ill-timed or unclear or maybe both, and for those who think I did point a finger, I get why you’re upset.  If the situation was reversed, there’s a good chance I’d have felt the same way. I have many friends and family members on the other side who I love and remain close to, even though we don’t agree on politics at all.  I don’t think the murderer who shot Charlie Kirk represents anyone. This was a sick person who believed violence was a solution, and it isn’t, ever.”

He was just misunderstood.  Sure.  Lying about why a an innocent man who was just murdered may have been “ill-timed.”  You think?  And check out his language.  “Some of my best friends are conservatives.”  People to whom he refers as “the other side.”  No Jimmy.  There should be only one side.  The side on which those entrusted with broadcast time on a major network understand that it’s not a good idea to pour gasoline on smoldering embers.

Kimmel didn’t get that last week, and he still doesn’t get it now.  So why, “Welcome Back Jimmy Kimmel?”  It’s very simple.  Although he doesn’t understand this, Jimmy Kimmel serves an important purpose for the good of America.  As a spokesman for the “leftists are always right” crowd of deviants who running the Democrat Party, his words lend support for them to continue to push their suicidal political policies.  Without Kimmel’s help, Democrats might realize that what they’re pushing is highly unpopular with the American electorate, they might change course, and make themselves stronger.

Better that Kimmel stay on the air and keeping feeding them the perverted pablum that supports their mistaken notion that they are in the mainstream, and the rest of us are out of step.  When your opponents are digging themselves a hole, keep passing out the shovels.  So welcome back Jimmy.  Keep up the good work.

The story we can’t escape is the murder of Charlie Kirk.  I didn’t know Charlie,  but I knew about Turning Point USA.  It’s an organization that mobilized young voters by telling them something they had never heard before – the truth.  Shocking!

Charlie was murdered last week by a young man who decided that it was justified to kill him, or for that matter anybody else, who held and expressed opinions that he did not share.  In the aftermath of the killing, we’ve been subjected to the same tired story, that political violence resulting in the murder of a man who did no one any harm is to be expected because – “Both sides do it.”

The “both sides do it excuse, is what I’ve been calling liberal answer number two.  When you tell a liberal, a progressive, or whatever they’re calling themselves nowadays a fact, you always get one of two answers.  Answer number one is, ‘That’s not true,” even though it is true, or answer number two, “Both sides do it.”

Even were that true, it wouldn’t justify wanton murder.  Only it isn’t true.  Currently, the Left is spinning the yarn that 76% of violent political acts are being perpetrated by “right wing extremists.”  To these imbeciles I say, “Please give me the names of the last three right wing extremists who committed politically motivated murder.”  If you don’t have the names, then tell me where it happened.  They can’t, because it’s a fantasy, but one to which all dedicated leftists subscribe.

How long have I been saying on these pages that leftists all suffer from the same mental disorder, which I call “delusions of rectitude?”  Having convinced themselves that they’re always right, it’s just a short step to concluding that anyone who disagrees with them is wrong, and is a dangerous extremist who must be killed.

That perverted rationale was played out last week, and Charlie Kirk was the person who paid with his life.  And after he was killed, we were treated to the same tired excuses.  The leftist lap dog media told us Kirk was “divisive.”  That means, Charlie didn’t agree with them.  Remember the leftist psychosis.  We’re right, so if you disagree, you’re divisive.  Never forget that these twisted bastards really believe they’re in the mainstream, so if you dissent, it’s you who are out of step.

Of course, the reality is that, if they were right, then Donald Trump never would have been reelected,  The Democrats think it’s perfectly acceptable to foment  violence by demonizing Republicans as fascists, or Nazis.  They’ve said that Republicans, and anyone who dares to support them are deplorables, who are existential threats to democracy.  They’ve called Trump Hitler, said he should be targeted, and Biden said he should be put in a bullseye.

When they tried to kill Trump twice, they said it wasn’t their fault.  To the Left, Charlie Kirk was divisive because he dared to challenge young people to think for themselves.  He went onto college campuses, those places that are supposed to be venues for the open exchange of divergent ideas and opinions, and dared to suggest that what the young people were being fed was propaganda, rather than the truth.

To add insult to injury, Charlie never yelled, preached or put down the kids.  He went with a smile, with an open mind, and with a tent emblazoned with the logo, “Prove Me Wrong.”  He invited those who disagreed with him to step up and have a conversation.  In so doing, Charlie committed three capitol crimes so far as leftists are concerned.

He supported free speech, especially speech that was uncomfortable or controversial, the very speech that the First Amendment was designed to protect.  Democrats oppose free speech.  They’re the people who chase conservatives off campus to silence them.  They’re the people who weaponized social media to gag and deplatform conservative voices.  And they’re the people who killed Charlie Kirk.

Kirk’s second offense was to advocate for the values of faith and family.  He invited young people to embrace religion, to get married, and to have families.  Leftists are opposed to religion, and the most dedicated left wing ideologues oppose traditional families.

But Kirk’s most egregious offense was to break the Democrat stranglehold on young voters.  Largely through the efforts of Turning Point USA, young men made about a 30 point turn from Democrat to Republican between 2020 and 2024.  This was unforgivable.  Kirk was working the Democrats’ side of the street, and beating them at their own game.  They had to  do something to stop him.  They did.

A recent poll found that 34% of self-described liberals think violence is always or usually acceptable to get what you want.  Another 42% found violence to be sometimes acceptable.  Is it any wonder leftist violence is out of control?

Democrats stirred the pot with their lies for years.  The leftist drumbeat went on 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Trump is Hitler.  Democracy is over.  Elections will be cancelled.  Your rights will be stolen.  Trump and his supporters must be targeted.  And their mind-numbed followers, victims of years of educational malpractice, isolated by the Covid lock downs, spending hours on violent video games and communicating solely online, without face to face human contact, ate up their crap.

Simply put, the Left created thousands of mindless, soulless, amoral monsters and turned them loose.  And now Charlie Kirk is dead.  His wife lost her husband.  His children lost their father.  Yet the Democrats still don’t get it.  It’s still not their fault.  Nancy Pelosi said, “People don’t have any intention of saying something that’s going to lead to something dangerous,”  “But we cannot take responsibility for the minds that are out there and how they hear it.”  Bullshit.  When you’re the one who warped those minds, you are responsible.

Democrats don’t think so.  They couldn’t even sit still for a moment of silence or a prayer on the floor of the House of Representatives.  When it was requested, Democrats shouted “No!”  The detestable Chuck Schumer warned, “This is not the time to point fingers.”  That’s true, especially since all the fingers are pointing at Chuck and the rest of his perverted party.

Then Illinois Governor Fatass Pritzker weighed in.  “We saw the shootings, the killings in Minnesota.  We’ve seen other political violence occur in other states, and I would just say it’s got to stop.” (Is that like a Joe Biden, “Don’t?)  “And I think there are people who are fomenting it in this country.” (You figured that out, huh?)  Pritzker knew just who to blame.  “I think the president’s rhetoric often foments it.  We’ve seen the January 6th rioters, who clearly, have tripped a new era of political violence.”  Sure, blame the victim.  He equates trespassing with murder.  A new era of violence?  No mention of the pre-January 6 BLM and Antifa riots that burned and looted cities, including Chicago, killed scores of people and injured thousands of police officers.

The useless media picked up the theme.  MSNBC spokes-idiot Katy Tur worried, “You can imagine the [Trump] administration using this as a justification for something.”  Yeah, like maybe law enforcement and public safety.  That would be a shame, huh Katy?

Since fired, MSNBC ‘s Matthew Dowd said, “he’s [Kirk] been one of the most divisive, especially divisive younger figures, in this, who is constantly sort of pushing this sort of hate speech, or sort of aimed at certain groups.”  “And I always go back to hateful thoughts, lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions, and I think that’s the environment that we’re in.” “People just… you can’t stop with these sort of awful thoughts you have, and then saying these awful words, and then not expect awful actions to take place.”

What an ass.  “Hate speech” is any speech a leftist hates.  Dowd’s message was plain – Charlie Kirk deserved what he got.  Representative Anna Paulina Luna called the Democrats out. “Y’all caused this!”  “I am done with the rhetoric this rotten House and corrupt media has caused. EVERY DAMN ONE OF YOU WHO CALLED US FASCISTS DID THIS!”  That’s telling them Anna, but it will do no good.

Prayer vigils and memorials to Charlie were held all over American and all over the world.  Most of the participants were young people who embraced Charlie’s message.  Leftists desecrated memorials to Charlie Kirk, and disrupted prayer vigils with violence.  In person and online, leftist ghouls reveled in Kirk’s murder, some chanting and dancing in the streets.  And therein lies the difference between the Left and decent people.  They celebrated Charlie’s death.  We celebrate his life.

There are signs of hope.  Scores of the most repugnant celebrators of Kirk’s death have been fired by their employers, signalling that responsible businesses may have some common decency, or at least, are no longer cowed by the Woke speech police.

Meanwhile, the work of Turning Point USA will continue.  The murder of Charlie Kirk isn’t the end, it’s the beginning.  Those who thought killing Charlie would kill his movement are sadly mistaken.  Much as Admiral Yamamoto warned after Pearl Harbor, they have awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve.

The gloves are off.  We’re no longer giving Democrats the benefit of the doubt.  We’re no longer presuming that they have good intentions.  They have proven otherwise.  We’re no longer going to hold our tongues to spare the feelings of people who consider assault, murder and firebombings appropriate political behaviors.  The next time one of them tries to spread his, or more likely her, bullshit, challenge him, civilly but strongly, and on the spot.  Be “divisive.” Their only tactic is to tell a lie often enough that it will be believed.  The only antidote for that poison is the truth.  Evil can triumph only if good people do nothing.

I have to wrap this up.  It’s already the longest Frank on Friday I’ve ever done, but the events of the last week really pissed me off.  The only way to convince Democrats to stop the violence by their supporters is to punish them at the ballot box.  Even if the elected Democrats won’t accept it, Charlie Kirk’s murder has further damaged the Democrat brand.  Take a page from Obama Butt Boy Eric Holder.  “When they go low, we kick them.”  Now is the perfect time for a few swift kicks in Leftist asses.  Figuratively, of course.

And to those who believe killing Charlie Kirk will benefit the Left,  I commend to you the words of Schmuck Schumer, “You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price.  You won’t know what hit you.”
